YetepSwedish duo Galantis and Canadian brother duo DVBBS have teamed up with Australian singer/songwriter Cody Simpson for a powerhouse collaboration. Their new collab “When The Lights Go Down” via Ultra Records is the first-ever collab from Galantis and DVBBS! While this is the first time we’ve seen Galantis join forces with DVBBS, Cody Simpson and DVBBS are no strangers. The duo previously worked with Simpson on their yet-to-be-released track “Living The Day” that premiered at Ultra Miami back in 2016.
Galantis, DVBBS, and Cody Simpson are all renowned for their catchy tunes, producing hit after hit. “When The Lights Go Down” is on the fast track to becoming this dream team’s next smash hit! Check it out below:
“When The Lights Go Down” is the kind of collaboration we love listening to. It’s a track you can pull apart and listen to piece by piece. You can easily hear the distinctive sounds of each artist within this track. From Cody Simpson’s angelic vocals and guitar chords to Galantis’ signature bouncy sound and electronically altered vocals along with DVBBS giving the track an all-around deeper influence.
Of the release, DVBBS shared,
“We’ve shared stages all around the world with legends Galantis over the last decade and couldn’t be happier to now share this record together. We’ve also watched Cody Simpson grow into the amazing artist he is. He performed a record with us years ago at Ultra Music Festival that never came out. So, we had to finish the story right, and that’s ‘When The Lights Go Down.'”
