YetepLos Angeles-based musician VNSSA, has been on our relentless watchlist for quite some time! This rising Beatport star is known for creating uplifting and unforgettable disco-esque tech house. Starting her musical journey at a young age, VNSSA first found herself as a rock drummer before she officially got into DJing and producing.
VNSSA has worked closely with artists like Walker & Royce and Femme House’s LP Giobbi. Having two major collabs with Walker & Royce, their tracks “Rave Grave” and “Word” quickly became staples to any great festival set. One of VNSSA’s more recent singles “In The Dark” was a funky fresh addition to LP Giobbi’s all-female house compilation album, Femme House. VNSSA’s latest two-track EP Music4TheMasses offers us an unexpected refresh to our music palates.

Producing hits seems like a regular occurrence with VNSSA and Music4TheMasses is no exception. The title track “Music4TheMasses” immediately takes us on a buzzing trip full of electrifying beats, transporting us to the underground where music is the universal language. The second track “Rave Party” hypnotizes us with its bright synths and echoing lyrics urging you to keep the party going.
Of the release VNSSA stated:
“I’m really excited to have this EP on Higher Ground. The idea behind these tracks was that I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and make something I wasn’t hearing in the clubs. I wanted to make something different and unexpected that still worked on the dancefloor and I’m through the roof that Higher Ground liked the EP and signed it because I think it’s a great label for showcasing the unexpected.”
