YetepThe experimental bass legend is back and after three years since his last EP Tangential Zones, G Jones has released the first single “Operator” of his newly announced ILLUSORY TRACKS EP. Yes, a few months ago we were graced with his and Eprom’s Acid Disk 2 EP but G Jones has not released any solo tracks since 2019. Die hard fans are ecstatic as he has been playing this song in sets for three years now and it is the elusive “ray gun ID” or “zappy boi’s delight” ID. It’s been the most anticipated and requested track of G Jones’s since “In Your Head.” On the same day he announced the release date for “Operator” Jones also announced that his next EP ILLUSORY TRACKS will be dropping “before the end of 2022”. Given that his most recent tour was titled “Illusory OS” it is possible that ILLUSORY TRACKS will have other long awaited IDs on it.
Listen to “Operator” out now on Illusory Records and make sure to come see G Jones live at the Phoenix Raceway for Goldrush: Neon Dreams, happening October 7-9th. You can see the full stacked lineup and get tickets here.
