San Diego-based DJ and producer Knock2 is quickly establishing himself to be one of dance music’s greatest. Known for his breakout hit “dashstar” and most recent single, “Make U SWEAT”, Knock2 is notorious for bringing a refreshing and nostalgic energy to everything he does. Check out ROOM202 via NIGHTMODE below:
Full of nothing but bangers, ROOM202 flows perfectly from front to back and offers an infectious energy full of diverse sound. Along with two previously-released singles “Make U SWEAT” and “gettin’ hot”, the EP holds four brand-new tracks. After the lead cut “Make U SWEAT!”, we have “REWIND” and “getting’ hot” two high-energy tracks with fiery vocal hooks and killer basslines. Next up, “Are U Feelin Me” features a voice many of us know and love, multi-platinum artist Dev who also appears on The Cataracs’ “Like a G6”. Knock2 and Dev deliver a sultry and bass-filled banger that can ignite any dancefloor. With each track building more momentum, “JUMP in” is a snare-stacked heater that showcases Knock2’s signature trap style. Closing out the EP is “Rock Ur World”, a heartwarming homage to the early years of EDM featuring angelic vocals from singer-songwriter fussy.
Creating music out of pure love for the scene and a passion for producing, Knock2 takes electro house to the next level welcoming a newfound spin to dance music. Knock2 expressed his appreciation and inspiration for ROOM202 via Twitter.
To celebrate the release of ROOM202, Knock2 will be headed to a few lucky North American tour stops for his debut headline tour! Luck for you, we scored two stops here in Tempe, AZ at Darkstar! The first show on March 11th has already sold out, but you can grab tickets for March 12th here.
