YetepAll you need is some bass and all your problems will go away. Two powerhouses in the bass house game, Moksi and Nostalgix have collabed on their new track “Gimme Bass.” The blend of dark high powered bass, crisp rolling hi-hats, roaring synths, and echoing vocals from Nostalgix melts together and creates something magical that’s both fresh and energetic. The bass alone is pure insanity, so powerful that it truly has you going “wtf!” The bumping banger is the first release from Moksi’s upcoming album back under The Barong Family, which so far seems to be bringing back the sounds of the classic “Moksi, Switch it” era.
The release of the first track “Gimme Bass” of the forthcoming album Moksi Crew follows the recent announcement of Diego’s decision to split from the duo and follow a new path. Samir, the other half of Moksi, is continuing the legacy and bringing back the OG bouncy bass house sound. As we have already gotten snippets of the lively sounds from a preview video of the new album dropping October 6th. Nostalgix is the perfect person to work with on “Gimme Bass,” as she is quickly rising in the house game for her innovative bass house music. Her uniqueness and energy-filled style are one of a kind. The two blending their sounds were the perfect match and have listeners anticipating what’s to come from both Moksi and Nostalgix.
Moksi will be making his way to Gentle Ben’s in Tucson on August 25th and Nostalgix will be energizing the night at Goldrush: Sonoran Skies this October at the Phoenix Raceway. You can get more information and purchase tickets for Moksi here and see Nostalgix at Goldrush here.
