YetepBrisbane’s Odd Mob is recently known for “Losing Control” with OMNOM as well as “LEFT TO RIGHT” released in 2022 with Insomniac Records. Additionally, the success of his 2021 “VIRUS” remix shows his ability to succeed past the boundaries of genre. Initially recognized for “Is It a Banger?” in 2014, Odd Mob has consistently challenged the status quo and continues to stand the test of time. Amassing over 50 million streams on Spotify alone, Odd Mob shows no signs of slowing down. His recent Tinted Records track, “Give You,” is a strong addition to an already impressive catalog.
Starting the track with a bass stab and just a few seconds of the full beat, Odd Mob cleverly teases the drop that fans live for. Quickly pulling back and leaving room for just the kick and vocals, a reverb on the vocal track slowly increases and creates an atmospheric build. The percussion is then introduced and it’s clear Odd Mob is building to a drop. A sweep sound wipes away the atmospheric reverb leaving a punchy “I Wanna Give You” vocal right before the drop. Coming in at just 2 minutes and 35 seconds, Odd Mob wastes no time on this track and every second is worth listening to.
