Kaivon is a master of future melodic bass (though he spans across many genres), and he is quickly gaining momentum worldwide. After a strong festival summer season, Kaivon’s next phase in his career will be unleashed to the world with his 2024 Ultraviolet album tour. Fortunately for us, Kaivon will be making several stops in Arizona, and these shows are not to be missed. With new production and a brand-new album spanning multiple genres, these performances are bound to be special, especially for an artist with so much potential.
Kaivon is rapidly becoming a household name, and with performances at massive festivals such as EDC and Hard Summer, he has taken a stranglehold on fans of melodic music. Kaivon possesses a unique style that truly showcases his production skills, setting his take on melodic music apart from the established melodic bass titans in the industry. With incredible songs such as “Just a Dream” and “Pretty,” we can’t help but wait in anticipation for his next release.
Currently preparing for his massive 2024 tour, Kaivon is bringing his fans into a new phase. With a new album spanning multiple genres, these shows are not to be missed. We had the chance to sit down with Kaivon and discuss various topics, including his creative process, what he loves doing outside of music, what to expect in this new phase, and much more. Check it out below!
Hello! Nice to meet you. We are looking forward to your multiple stops of your Ultraviolet tour in Arizona! What feelings or pictures are you trying to convey with your new album? What was the inspiration behind it?
Hello nice to meet you as well 🙂 I overall wanted to convey a rollercoaster of emotions enveloped by the theme of an ultraviolet soul telling the story. The inspiration behind it was to feel every feeling and push sonic boundaries in an ultraviolet way.
I love how transparent you are with your journey in the music industry. What have been some major lessons you can share to people with the same goals as you?
Some overall lessons I’ve been leaning on are trusting that the universe has a divine plan for you and that everything is happening for a reason whether we realize it now or later.
How do you approach the creative process when creating your music?
When creating music, I normally like to start with a vocal sample or acapella that makes me feel something and then build around it and let the “art of flow” take over from there.
What is your favorite memory from being an artist?
My favorite memory or memories from being an artist is meeting individuals who tell me I have impacted their life in a deep, positive, or spiritual way. That is my whole purpose in creating music, is to help just one person if possible.
What is your favorite things to do outside of music?
My favorite things to do lately outside of music is golf, play video games, and surf 🙂
What are you looking forward to most in this new phase of your career?
What I am looking forward most in this stage of my career is seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones and enjoying the present moment with them through music.
What can we expect from your new show? We are really excited to experience it!!
This new show will be really special. We are going bigger than we ever have in terms of production and I have poured everything I have into this Ultraviolet Set. Excited to experience it with you 🙂
