John Summit & Of The Trees Tease Unexpected Collaboration

John Tree? Of The Summit? Either way, we’re here for it! Another surprising alliance has emerged in the effort to close the divide between the bass and house music scenes. House music icon John Summit and experimental bass maestro Of The Trees have officially shared that they have a collaboration in the works!

The initial spark of the collaboration all started on X, with Summit confirming with his response, “I’m still mindblown from ur sunrise shambs set and why ur one of my fav artists and why I’m making music w u.”

These two genre-bending geniuses both agree that depending on their own environments, fans can always expect something different. Summit has now regularly shown his love for the bass scene, teasing remixes with Subtronics and going B2B at festivals like EDC Las Vegas and recently, Decadence Arizona! Summit even stayed to see his bass bestie close out Decadence AZ (how sweet).

Of The Trees and John Summit have both become highly recognized for their inventiveness and elite caliber of output. They have top-tier production when it comes to their live sets, and they never limit themselves to any particular genre or set of norms. There’s really no telling what we can expect to hear in this collaboration, but we can only assume that it will be unlike anything we’ve ever heard before. 

With Summit’s debut album on the horizon, we can anticipate seeing this dream collaboration sometime soon.
