YetepDance music superstar John Summit has reunited with British singer-songwriter Hayla for their latest masterpiece, “Shiver.” The new collaboration is the ideal follow-up to their initial hit, “Where You Are,” which undoubtedly became one of the biggest releases of 2023. The highly-anticipated single “Shiver” has just arrived perfectly on time for all of your love this Valentine’s Day.
“Shiver” encapsulates the essential essence of human connection once more leaving listeners completely enveloped in love and nostalgia. Summit’s highly captivating production shines through, perfectly complementing Hayla’s heavenly vocals. The moving story of two souls who are bound by rhythm and completely present in the moment. Hayla’s strong vocals and Summit’s stunning sound design come together to create a timeless Summit drop that is driven by pure euphoria.
Of the release, John Summit and Hayla expressed:
“Last year, Hayla and I had one of the biggest dance records of the year with “Where You Are”, so we knew we had to follow it up and it was much easier said than done. It took about 9 months start to finish to get this record done, but damn it was worth it. This might be my favorite record to date — definitely the most emotion I put behind a song.”
“Shiver is all about that moment when you finally start to feel your emotions again and feel alive”, Hayla adds. “Being with that one person, or with a group of people that make you want to live in that moment forever. That feeling we all experience – the tingle or the spark through your whole body. The line ‘Can you feel it now’ is almost a self reflection and realization that this moment is exactly what you needed.”
Summit can officially add “Shiver” to his repertoire of timeless dance hits, and we can anticipate that it will quickly become one of this year’s mainstay festival anthems. This duo is skilled at stirring strong emotions and creating dance hits that will truly make you “Shiver.”
