“Remedy” is a high-octane techno track with a galloping loop and sharp percussion. A consistent bassline creates a head bob in the listener. The loop briefly breaks its rhythm. An eclectic mix of kicks, hi-hats, and claps form a rhythmic triad worthy of a constant fist bump. A force field of laser effects make up this section’s undercurrent. “I’m always drawing inspiration from the music I grew up with. For example, you’ll hear obvious nods to the vocals of Maxi Jazz from Faithless throughout this track. I wanted to create something that feels visceral and aggressive, but also has a euphoric moment in the break – perfect for playing toward the end of my sets. Remedy is about escapism through sonics. It’s universally familiar and it’s why many of us love going to clubs, festivals, concerts and so on. This is a big one and I hope this track resonates with audiences in the same way it does for me.”
