The Chainsmokers & Kim Petras Release Chart-Topping Collab, ‘Don’t Lie’

The Chainsmokers and pop phenomenon Kim Petras have collaborated on their newest hit single, “Don’t Lie.” This track is a brilliant and contagious joint effort that perfectly combines Kim Petras’ powerful vocals with The Chainsmokers’ trademark sound. “Don’t Lie” is the first single off of The Chainsmokers forthcoming EP.

Simultaneously released with the track comes the accompanying music video, a visual masterpiece all on its own. The outstanding production incorporates an off-grid rave organized by The Chainsmokers and Kim Petras, where the weather takes a turn for the worst but ravers still dance on. A sentiment that many out-of-state festival goers have felt this year.

The Chainsmokers shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the music video set on Instagram, stating:

Internally this song marks a shift in the way we’ve been making music in the absolute best way. It lead us to rediscovering the process that started all of this back when we were making indie remixes in 2014 hoping they would get some traction on hype machine. Things feel really f–king fun right now. We are excited to share the first piece with you.”
