Relentless Beats

The Widdler Returns to SubCarbon With ‘Zero G’ Album

One of the most exciting artists signed to SubCarbon, The Widdler has brought some of the wonkiest dub in years. With a wonky and wubby sound that meshes so well with his SubCarbon friends, The Widdler has made some of the most fresh and exciting dubstep this year and there is no telling when he is going to step. The Widdler, a Texas based dubstep creator, has been in the studio cooking up a masterpiece of an album. The Zero G release, which came to fans everywhere in early September, has a total of 43 masterfully mixed tunes. This is one SubCarbon release you are not going to want to miss.

SubCarbon, the wonky dubstep label created by Ganja White Night, is one of the biggest labels in the genre and brings countless new artists and tunes to the electronic music scene. The Widdler connected with Ganja White Night early in his career and has been a part of the label for years. Creating wonky dubstep with the likes of Shlump, Pushloop, and G Space, The Widdler has made a name for himself as one of the most exciting and innovative artist in the wubstep subgenre. Differentiated from dubstep legends such as Excision and Sullivan King, the SubCarbon sound is more wonky, wubby, and wobbly. What this genre lacks in harsh tones and exciting drops it makes up for with its ability to send the crowd into a trance. It is the perfect mix of heavy basslines, funky melodies and funny lyrics, the new album from The Widdler is a perfect showcase of everything that the genre has to offer.

Zero G is out now! Streaming on all of your favorite listening services, this is a beautiful amalgamation of dubstep, deep dub, and wonky bass that is sure to get your body wobbling and your feet moving.
