YetepWith the cool weather finally here, it’s the perfect time to be in Arizona! This season brings everyone out to enjoy outdoor activities, show off those cozy fall and winter outfits, and soak up the incredible weather. This is also when I love to put on some vibey music to set the mood for this wonderful time of year. I’ve put together a list of five of my favorite tracks for when the weather shifts, and I hope you discover something new to add to your own playlist! What a time to be alive!
“White Widow” by Ganja White Night
This track is the definition of an oldie but a goldie. Released over a decade ago, it’s the perfect song to put on as you stroll around in the beautiful weather. It’s vibey, with an ambient feel—something Ganja White Night excels at when they’re not busy melting minds with bass-heavy drops. The sharp melody guides the song in various directions, while the signature bass synths create a perfect cohesion. A true tone-setter for fall!
“Opera” by Marasi
I’m a huge fan of house music with big, sweeping chord progressions, and this track hits the spot. Marasi is a rising star in the house scene, and “Opera” showcases exactly why. It starts off with a chill, vibey intro before launching into a drop with a beautiful synth chord progression that dances around the strong beats, creating a textured, atmospheric experience that’s perfect for fall!
“Gulch” by Tipper
While Tipper is usually known for his intense space bass beats, he’s also a master of ambient, chill music. “Gulch” is a highly technical yet vibey track released over a decade ago, and it still holds up. The beat pattern is strong and steady, while subtle accents add texture and keep things interesting throughout. This song is perfect for reading outside—no lyrics, just pure, fall-perfect vibes.
“Wook Whistle” by Clozee, LSDREAM
LSZEE are quickly becoming one of my favorite projects, and this track is a prime example of why. “Wook Whistle” is incredibly unique, with a whistling melody that soars over a complex bass structure, reminding you that these artists are true masters of bass. The song offers a variety of drops, blending funk with bass-driven energy. Check it out for a one-of-a-kind vibe!
“Wibble Wobble” by GorillaT
Rounding out the list is GorillaT, a rising star in the DnB scene. “Wibble Wobble” is a drum and bass track that’s more vibey than punchy, with a beat structure that seems to wrap around the listener. The buildups and fake-outs elevate the song to another level, keeping you engaged. It’s faster than typical drum and bass, with GorillaT’s signature space bass accents sprinkled throughout. It’s the perfect track for a run outside in this amazing weather!
