YetepOne of our Decadence dancefloor anthems has arrived! Aussie DJ and producer Dom Dolla has joined forces with singer-songwriter Daya for their hypnotic house collaboration ‘Dreamin.’ The track is available now as the official debut for Dom Dolla’s new record label, Good Fortune.
“Dreamin” was the track that helped close out another massive year for Dom Dolla and kickstarted a new one. Dom Dolla showcases his remarkable talent for crafting dancefloor anthems that resonate far beyond the festival stage, thanks to his irresistible basslines and catchy vocal hooks from pop sensation Daya. Daya has lent her voice to many of our favorite tracks, including her hit “Hide Away,” RL Grime’s “I Wanna Know,” and “Feel Good” with Gryffin and Illenium. Her voice is rich and expressive, always able to convey a wide range of emotions. With a strong and smooth vocal delivery, Daya’s clear and distinct resonance makes her appearances unforgettable. Whether she’s belting out high notes or delivering deeper, more intimate lines like on “Dreamin,” her voice has a unique quality that elevates any track she’s featured on.
“This record is about the flow state you can find yourself in when everything is going a little too well… the moment you’re struck by a tiny sobering piece of doubt that niggles at your peace of mind,” he said. “The challenge I gave myself with this record was to write the simplest melody I could muster (that didn’t drive me nuts).”

The visually stunning and realistic depiction of the song’s lyrical themes of escapism is showcased in the “Dreamin” music video, shot in Tokyo and directed by Shevin Dissanayake and Kyle Caulfield, further accentuating the emotional impact of the track through its corporate life storyline. You can view the music video here.
