World-renowned Dutch DJ/producer Laidback Luke is an iconic artist and performer known for his intricate production style and incredible live sets. Laidback Luke is bringing his skills to The Valley on Friday February 28th for an exclusive 3-Hour UNDER/GROUND set. The event is 21+ and takes place in Tempe, Arizona at the iconic Sunbar nightclub. Doors open at 9pm with supporting DJs performing until around 11pm. Laidback Luke takes over for the rest of the night, rocking the crowd until the lights come on at 2AM. The 2015 album, Focus, is my personal favorite Laidback Luke project. It features a varied soundscape and seamless production. Album highlights include the upbeat party anthem “Never Rave Again (feat. Harrison)” and the brooding, slow burn melodies of “Never Forget.” However, “Won’t Break This Feeling Down” is my sentimental favorite. The catchy vocals sway with full bodied bass, subtle chimes, and tropical elements.
