YetepLevity’s new project lands like a love letter to festival floors, and Snack Pack Vol. 1, out now via Ultra Records, makes it clear why this trio has been turning heads the past couple years, their infectious stage presence and fun, dance-fueled live sets proving the boys know how to get a crowd moving. From the first bite-sized thrill of “Salamander” to the full-throttle bass assaults of “Postman,” these releases feel less like singles and more like a mood board for a perfect night under lights. The playful, high-energy opener grabs your attention immediately. It doesn’t just feel like a track; it feels like a tiny adventure, layered with quirky samples, punchy drops, and sonic twists that keep you on your toes. Levity reminds listeners that dance music can be fun, messy, and wonderfully experimental all at once.
“Salamander” leans into raucous festival energy, a track that made an early splash when it premiered earlier this year at the Tacoma Dome, its momentum built to ricochet through arenas, blistering and bright, with moments that hit like a celebratory leap. By contrast, “By My Side,” which first debuted at Coachella, pulls emotion to the front, a soulful vocal loop building a warm foundation before the trio lets the production swell. It’s a reminder that Levity can craft intimacy even while playing to thousands, making connections feel personal, and making vulnerability feel like a hug on the main stage.
“Front to Back” is a clever, confident move, sampling Pretty Lights’ “Hot Like Dimes” in a way that nods to electronic lineage while pushing the sound forward, the Richard Finger remix adds another layer of surprise, its wobble bass ebbing and flowing with a life of its own, interleaving with sharp, punchy vocal hooks so that the song never stops feeling immediate. That balance between respect for the scene and playful reinvention is a through line on the release, and it’s what makes Levity feel both familiar and excitingly new.
“Like This” goes heavier, leaning into charged, bass-driven momentum that shows the trio can stomp as hard as they can smile, while “Postman” is dubstep heaven, a track that had been continually teased in recent sets and even popped up on the I’M PEAKING Podcast, it wraps soulful vocal motifs into a machine of chaotic, expertly sculpted drops, the boys unleashing an epic, bass-filled weapon that lands with both precision and joy. Hearing it live, you can feel the floor vibrate in your chest, and in headphones, you discover all the little production details that make it hit again and again.

What ties these songs together is Levity’s gift for pacing, their ear for a hook, and an organic sense of showmanship. They move effortlessly between fun and feeling, between spectacle and sincerity, and they do it without losing personality. If Snack Pack Vol. 1 is a sampler of what Levity can do, it’s an irresistible invitation, and if these tracks are the preview, the full story is going to be something worth camping out for.
