YetepThink back to the first time you heard “Don’t You Worry Child”… You’re singing it over in your head… you’re in the car with your rave fam on the way to your first show… You’re pregaming in your high school apartment… This was a track that defined a generation and a crossover with the mainstream and electronic dance music culture.

Swedish House Mafia were pioneers in bringing mainstream electronic tracks to the radio waves and introducing a fresh take on music to the ears of many. Should this notorious trio reunite for the first time in 5 years at Ultra’s mainstage, a generation of people who have grown into electronic music will finally get to witness the ones that started a revolution.
Beyond that, it could very well mean that they are back to stay. As it stands electronic music has skyrocketed into the limelight with radio hits everywhere you look. Should Swedish House Mafia come back, we may see an evolved sound back at its mainstream roots. Some massive collabs could be in store. And even better, maybe a tour.
What does it mean for the current state of electronic music? Do we have a new tour on the way? Perhaps new music? Is it a potentially massive PR stunt? We’ll have to wait and see, but this could be a sign of big things ahead.
