DJ to Watch: DEVAULT

21-year-old Orange County-based DJ and producer DEVAULT may be an up and comer in the industry, but he’s already stolen our hearts. As he was getting his start in music, the DJ drew inspiration from the varying sounds of Depeche Mode, Flume, and RL Grime. Such influences have allowed him to create his own, unique sound that borrows elements from the very best, making him an excellent choice for this week’s DJ to Watch. 

Since 2016, DEVAULT has been gaining recognition at an exponential rate. Two of his most successful singles, “Nothing New” and “All I Need,” have amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify. He has also gained support from such artists as The Chainsmokers, NGHTMRE, Slander, and more.

However, such recognition doesn’t come without hard work – the DJ has been busy in the studio working on remixes of tracks by Rihanna, Billie Ellish, RL Grime, and more, not to mention his own original productions and collaborations. On top of producing, he’s been booking more and more high-profile gigs. He just finished up playing Coachella last month, and he’s set to play at both Hard Summer and Electric Zoo this year.
