YetepThere’s only one word that can describe Zeds Dead and Snails‘ newest song: WTF-AMAZING-WOW-WHAT-A-TIME-TO-BE-ALIVE! “Magnets” is a beautiful and hypnotizing dubstep song that blew all our expectations out of the water. The angelic vocals of Akylla are awakening and build to one of the most intricate and absolute filthy drops I’ve ever heard. The song doesn’t slow down after the first drop either, it immediately transitions into a second even heavier and wonkier sound. The song is suspenseful from start to finish.
Bass heads are going to be attracted to “Magnets” which is why we are making it this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week.
This is the first collaboration between Zeds Dead and Snails, but our fingers are crossed it won’t be the last. Zeds Dead has been crushing it this year, performing dozens of their Deadbeat’s shows, making numerous festival appearances (including Arizona’s own Bassrush Massive), and hosting their own weekly radio show, “Deadbeats Radio.” Snails has also been shelling out his fair share of vomitstep in 2018. He’s released a handful of new music, a remix album of his 2017 album The Shell, and has been touring endlessly throughout the year.
Snails starts The Shell 2.0 tour October 5th at Red Rocks then brings the groundbreaking production to Phoenix and Tuscon on October 27th at The Van Buren (Grab tickets here) and October 24th at the Rialto Theatre (Grab tickets here).
