YetepThe sun is out and the days are getting hotter by the second, but we all experience our share of summer blues from time to time. Perfect for the occasion, Swedish DJ Alessandro Lindblad (better known as Alesso) teamed up with Argentine actress and singer TINI to create the perfect cure for a little summertime sadness. Hear it below.
Alesso – Sad Song (feat. TINI) | Official Music Video
“Sad Song” features beautifully morose vocals, yet parts of the song are deceivingly groovy and upbeat despite the message and story behind the lyrics. With soothing guitar chords, beautiful vocal harmonies, and hand-clapping beats, this jam is sure to get you vibing in your feels and swaying to the pop-like sounds coating this track. The hit seamlessly transitions between verses, choruses, and drops with ease, blending sounds and subtly drifting the listener through the bittersweet tale of a toxic love that is ultimately one-sided and painful yet enticing at the same time.
Alesso has made quite a name for himself, producing some of the most popular and widely-known hits in the scene to date such as “Heroes (we could be)” and “Let Me Go.” He has also worked alongside prominent producers like David Guetta and Sebastian Ingrosso, in addition to performing in venues all over the world including countries like Croatia, Germany, the UK, France, and the US. TINI, is no stranger to fame herself. She gained international fame and popularity from her work with Disney Channel Latin America starting in 2011.
Are you in need of a “Sad Song” to get you through the summer? Open up your heart (and ears) for this amazingly artistic track that treads the line between happy and sad, and realize that sometimes it’s okay to be a little bit of both.
