YetepMatthew Lucas, better known as PEEKABOO and the father of the festival anthem “Babatunde,” surfaced in 2018 as an instantly distinguished member of the Wakaan family. His distinctively haunting sound has been carried through the hit single that brought him to the forefront of the collective music industry’s attention and into his ever-evolving career. Far from a one-hit-wonder, PEEKABOO has been and continues to be in the bass music spotlight. His Impossible Tour kicked off in January in honor of his Impossible EP; all four of his original tracks from the EP are available below.
PEEKABOO has grown from opening supporter to headliner of festivals and now of his own EP tour. He’s gained attention from artists like REZZ, Zeds Dead, RL Grime and more, with the first of these bringing him on her Red Rocks show and album tour. Almost instantly since “Babatunde” caught our ears a couple of years ago, PEEKABOO has been popping out in surprising fashion on festival lineups everywhere. The spotlight is sure to remain on this artist during this EP release and beyond.
Get beamed up with PEEKABOO when he plays at Phoenix Lights on April 3rd and 4th. Get your tickets here!
