Remix Recall: Illenium & Matt Maeson – ‘Heavenly Side’ (NGHTMRE Remix)

It’s time for another Remix Recall! This week we’re focusing on a fresh track from Illenium‘s latest album, the popular single “Heavenly Side” with Matt Maeson. Only two weeks after the original release, NGHTMRE has already given the track a dazzling revamp. Listen to the remix below:

The original track features emotional lyrics from Maeson, and a melodious beat in true Illenium fashion. The track tells us a passionate story about recognizing your own flaws and fixing them to become the best version of yourself. Illenium deemed this track to be one of his favorites off of Fallen Embers and it seems to be the current fan-favorite, as well.

NGHTMRE’s massive reconstruction of the track takes Maeson’s vocals up in pitch and adds some happy synths to give it a future bass feel. This remix really shows a brighter side to the track and brings us a new side of the story. NGHTMRE always knows how to bring those Gud Vibrations to any track and this remix is no exception to that!
