First it was Group Therapy, a release that was filled with hot tracks like “Alchemy,” “Sun & Moon,” and “Black Room Boy.” Listen to the entire release below. Then they took Group Therapy on the road hitting some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world promoting the release. Now they are taking Group Therapy to Sin City for a residency at at Wynn Las Vegas.
Above & Beyond will be celebrating the launch of their new residency in style, and will be giving away flights, accommodations, club access, and more. They will make the official “Above & Beyond Weekender” launch on May 17 at XS and will keep the party going on May 18 at Encore Beach Club. This is a big move for Above & Beyond, and they join an impressive list of names that have had a residency at Wynn properties including Tiësto, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Eric Prydz, and more.
Want to party with Above & Beyond? Fans can enter a competition to win a trip to Las Vegas for the launch weekend on the official Above & Beyond Facebook page. The prize package includes travel, accommodations, and board at the 5-star Wynn. Oh, and the winner can bring a friend. If you haven’t partied at the Wynn, then you haven’t experienced what Las Vegas is all about. This is a true 5-star experience all the way around.
“From starting life as the title of our second album, Group Therapy has somehow evolved to sum up everything we do. It captures the relationship between us, our music and our fans, and the magic that happens when those three things interact. We’re looking forward to bringing the full Group Therapy experience to the Wynn and Las Vegas for the first time,” the group said in a recent interview discussing the residency.
Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy show has become one of the most talked about in electronic dance music, providing unforgettable moments for audiences from LA to Moscow, Sydney to Tel Aviv, Cape Town to Bangalore, and beyond. I had the chance to see see it at Electric Zoo last year in New York City. If what they did on Randall’s Island is any indication of what they are going to to bring to Las Vegas, this will be one show you can’t afford to miss.
The brand just keeps on going. Group Therapy is also the name of Above & Beyond’s weekly radio show. With a global audience of 30 million, it sits as one of the most popular dance music shows in the world, trending weekly on Twitter during broadcasts.
