YetepDutch-born DJ and producer Dion Timmer has been pushing boundaries and blending genres since he was just 14 years old. “Officially” gaining his rise to fame in 2014, Dion Timmer has created one of the most diverse and extensive discographies in the industry. From dubstep to drum n’ bass, he’s conquered almost every subgenre of bass music.
Timmer has shared major releases across several notable labels such as Never Say Die, Monstercat, Wakaan, Subsidia, and Deadbeats. He’s recently found himself venturing into the realm of video game development, helping him showcase his creativity in a new light. His fan-favorite track “Shiawase” gained huge momentum for its feature on popular video games Fortnite, Rocket League, Beat Saber, and Roblox.
Notorious for helping create festival staples like “Rescue” with Zeds Dead, fiery collabs are just one of his many fortes. Timmer is frequently seen collaborating with his industry giant BFF, Excision. The two have put out over 20 tracks together including hits like “Time Stood Still” and “End Of The World” with Donna Tella, as well as their own four-track EP Breaking Through. Other collaborations include Virtual Riot, Liquid Stranger, Sullivan King and more.
In 2020, Timmer released his debut full-length album Enter Achroma via Deadbeats. This album crossed the boundaries of melodic bass, dubstep, psych rock, and even had house banger “Midnight Zone” featuring Devon Dalgarno.
Timmer released the 7-track follow-up, Arcane, last year via Excision’s Subsidia Records. It focuses on different elements of drum n’ bass, dubstep, and some midtempo. Still just 22 years old, Dion Timmer continues to evolve and excel with every release. He has shown us a new dimension of sound with electrifying production and proves to be a powerful force in all he does.
Don’t miss Dion Timmer alongside Rossy, NGHTMRE, Dimension, and Zeds Dead at Deadbeats Arizona at Phoenix Raceway this April 22nd! You can get more information and purchase tickets here.
