Relentless Beats

Artist Spotlight: sumthin sumthin

Hailing from San Clemente, California, Conrad Woodul, aka sumthin sumthin, has become a force to be reckoned with in just a few short years. The bass producer found his passion for music early on, at age four to be exact, creating drum sets in his kitchen with pots and pans and kitchen utensils. A few years later, he learned to play the electric guitar and then the piano, teaching himself how to write and compose music at first, before taking lessons.

Woodul played in bands for a while, before deciding he wanted to have full control over the music he was creating. He found his home within electronic music production, and shortly after sumthin sumthin was born. The producer has quickly developed a sound that is uniquely his, pushing genre boundaries and experimenting with sounds.

With releases on Bassrush, Deadbeats, and more; collaborations with the likes of CloZee and Player Dave; and official remixes like Zeds Dead’s ‘Just Wanna,’ sumthin sumthin continues to impress and we predict the best is still yet to come.

sumthin sumthin will be at Darkstar on Saturday, November 12th. Grab tickets here!
