YetepSeven Lions is undeniably a titan in the electronic music industry. With over a decade of artistry under his belt, he is revered as a pioneer who consistently breaks boundaries and innovates within the genre. His monumental rise in the early 2010s set the stage for a legacy that continues to thrive, proving that his artistry stands the test of time. As a melodic bass master, Seven Lions has captured our hearts—and this is only the beginning.
Seven Lions began gaining attention in the early 2010s with unforgettable releases like his remix of Florence + The Machine’s “Cosmic Love” and his track “Satellite,” songs that still inspire awe to this day. His big break came when he won a remix contest hosted by Above & Beyond with his powerful rendition of “You Got to Go.” While that connection certainly gave him a boost, his music spoke for itself. His EPs Days to Come and Worlds Apart were highly praised, and his hit song “Strangers” cemented his place in the scene. Continuing his momentum, he launched Ophelia Records in 2018, solidifying his legacy—and the rest is history.
Why does Seven Lions still reign at the top? Part of it is nostalgia. Many fans who entered the electronic music world in the 2010s hold his music close to their hearts. But more importantly, his artistry transcends time. Even tracks that are over a decade old remain vibrant, thanks to his intricate arrangements, stunning chord progressions, and thoughtful details. Beyond that, he continues to innovate. Seven Lions doesn’t follow the status quo—he defines it. His unique sound and approach naturally draw people in, making him a leader rather than a follower.
Seven Lions isn’t going anywhere. After wrapping up his first tour in years last year, he headlined many of the biggest festivals in 2024, and 2025 is shaping up to be another monumental year for him. Let’s hope Seven Lions makes a quick return to Arizona—because every show is a transformative experience that leaves us all a little better than before.
