YetepMau P has been on a high for awhile now, and he’s showing no signs of coming down. His very recent hit “The Less I Know the Better” is sitting at 18.5 million streams on Spotify in just three months, he had a huge turnout at his recent Coachella set, and he’s capitalized on a meme that was originally meant as hate. His most recent hit, “Like I Like It,” is has only been out for few weeks and has reached 920K streams on Spotify, with the second song on the release, “People Talk People Sing,” hitting almost 200K.
So far, the tracks have been supported by heavyweight spotify playlists such as New Music Friday, Summer House 2025, and mint (which he is on the cover of, and the very first song in the playlist as of writing). Not to mention, the track was also picked up by the Tomorrowland Official Playlist with a whopping 1.4M followers on Spotify. This makes sense considering the track was originally unveiled at Tomorrowland in 2024.
On Beatport, you can find the track as the #1 track on Top 100 Tech House. “People Talk People Sing” has peaked at #6, even though it was tucked away on the release. Apple Music has placed the track in five editorials including House Nation, danceXL, Future Dance Hits, New in Dance, and New Music Daily. On Amazon and Deezer, the track has earned 27 and 3 editorial placements respectively.
Aside from platform support, DJ’s have also been supporting the track pretty widely. So far, it’s been played by Oliver Heldens, Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Diplo, AFROJACK, Pete Tong, and plenty of others. I’m sure there will be more where that came from in the coming weeks as the track continues to catch on. In the meantime, I’ll be patiently waiting for another stellar Mau P release.
