YetepLondon-based duo, Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman, have taken the electronic dance music community by storm through their Dusky moniker. Dusky has set themselves apart from the rest with their “no-barriers” approach. Their sound glides across genres easily with originality, depth and soul. With musical inspiration ranging from jazz, to classic US house, vintage UK garage, original rave sounds and deep Detroit techno, these influences come together into the duo’s vision and become their own. Dusky has recently announced their North American tour dates which span major cities and festivals like New York, Miami, EDC and more.
In 2011, they released their debut single, “Lost in You” featuring vocalist Janai, which was the perfect summer house anthem. The following year, the duo released their first full-length album, “Stick by This”. They have proved that “underground” doesn’t just belong in intimate clubs, they have shared their sound at major festival stages like HARD and EDC, to name a few. With a new EP in the works, the duo is sure to preview their new productions on their upcoming tour. Whether its their elegant orchestral pieces or their epic techno grooves, this is one duo that is not to be missed.
