DJ Snake and Zedd Win at 2014 MTV Video Music Awards

There were two big wins at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards for EDM artists Zedd and DJ Snake, with both artists going up against some heavy hitters.

Zedd took home the MTV Clubland Award for “Stay the Night” with Hayley Williams, nominated alongside Calvin Harris– “Summer”, Martin Garrix– “Animals”, Disclosure– “Grab Her!” and DJ Snake and Lil Jon- “Turn Down For What.”

DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What” came back to win an award for Best Directotion with that ridiculous but mesmerizing music video. They were nominated up against Miley Cirus- “Wrecking Ball”, Beyonce- “Pretty Hurts”, Eminem and Rihanna- “The Monster” and OK Go- “The Writing’s on the Wall.”
