YetepWith there being so many different genres in EDM, of course they take turns falling in and out of popularity. A specific genre that has seen the light lately and become a bigger fad, is future bass. Those futuristic sounds and deep bass have a strong appeal and StéLouse and MYRNE have just teamed up for a future bass banger titled “Call Me” with Elysian Records that I am guessing will be loved by many.
StéLouse (pronounced “stay loose”) is an electronic project from budding producer Ross Ryan combining influences of hip hop, RnB, 80s new wave, and of course the dance club banger. His sound is well heard on the track along side MYRNE who utilizes a smooth blend of R&B, future pop and mainstage energy.
The song really takes you on an up beat journey from start to finish full of different sounds that I’m not even sure I’ve heard before. All these sounds put together have a Porter Robinson feel to it, and it’s pleasantly intense. Smashing synths and powerful bass drops make for a truly fun track that you’ll find yourself playing over and over.
