YetepIn celebration of both CRSSD Festival this weekend and Phoenix Lights early next month, this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week goes out to a song that is representative of the producer’s technical skill and his humor. Although the track has been released for a couple of years now, I heard the track for the first time last night, had a few random laughs, and found myself grooving to the robotic synths and ass-slapping beats of this tech house wonder. Take a listen to Claude VonStroke‘s “Dood”!

Taken from his album, Urban Animal, “Dood” was the second single released and truly shows off the wittiness and discord of Claude Von Strokes sound, yet somehow it all works to perfection, something which only VonStroke is capable of. If you get the chance, check out the rest of Urban Animal for more of this dysfunctional and sensational sound.
If you’re in San Diego this weekend, don’t skip out on Claude VonStroke’s set at The Palms stage closing out the festival on Sunday night! More importantly, don’t miss out on getting your tickets to Phoenix Lights, where VonStroke will be bringing his Dirtybird flavor in full force!
