YetepAfter only 6 months in the scene, Ookay made his way to the top in 2013 and I don’t see him going anywhere anytime soon. His remixes of Congorock’s “Bless Di Nation Ft. Sean Paul” and Steve Aoki, Chris Lake & Tujamo’s “Boneless” charted in the Top 10 in Electronica & Hip-Hop leaving a huge impression and gaining support from artists like Steve Aoki, Diplo, Major Lazer, Borgore, Showtek, Chuckie, Knife Party, Dirtyphonics, Krewella, Adventure Club and many, many more.
Now Ookay has released a fittingly titled track “Theif,” as its going to steal your heart, and most likely your girl. He has been evolving as an artist since he started but has really changed the pace and utilized his creativity for this one. He shares on his Facebook: “I think it sucks when people always expect one certain type of music from you as a producer. So I made something different, and I’m going to keep making different stuff because thats what a producer is supposed to do =] Let me know what you guys think below, enjoy!”
The track is irresistable with elegant saxaphone paired with Ookay’s very own vocals. The track may not be what fans expected from a trap producer, but it sure does display his diverse talent abilities and I can’t wait to see what else he experiments with.
