YetepThis weeks EDMovie Madness will be featuring music videos from DJ Snake, Skrillex, and Syn Cole. DJ Snake’s single from forthcoming album “The Middle” released about 5 months ago has reached number ten on the Billboard charts, and not to mention is infectiously popular heard on radio stations and through headphones all day long. Skrillex and Chance The Rapper are reuniting for Skrillex’s remix of Hundred Waters‘ track “Show Me Love” which was just released on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show. Also just released on digital retailers via ICONS Music and PRMD, is a refreshing single by Syn Cole featuring Maddame Buttons, “The Daze.” Now lets check out their music videos.
DJ Snake – “The Middle” ft. Bipolar Sunshine
“The Middle” music video tells a story of two unordinary lovers starring actor Josh Hutcherson and actress and musician Kiersey Clemons. The young stars both have faces full of strange looking super hero makeup, and of course can fly around the city as the please. The two are infatuated with each other and soar through the sky as people stare. Hutcherson is then devastated when his lover leaves him and he finds her looking like a normal human being with another guy. But just when things couldn’t get any worse for him, she returns in her costume and helps him wash his face paint off. What a cute love story.
Hundred Waters – “Show Me Love” (Skrillex Remix)
Skrillex has just debuted a playful video for his massive remix of Hundred Waters’ “Show Me Love.” The new version features Chance the Rapper, Moses Sumney and Robin Hannibal and stands as the producer-DJ’s directorial video debut. The video is Skrillex’s first stab at video directing and features appearances from Chance alongside the entire OWSLA crew as they wander through a beachside and city setting, decked out in unmistakable OWSLA gear.
Syn Cole – “The Daze” ft. Madame Buttons
It’s been over a year since Syn Cole’s single “Its You,” and now he’s back and has changed the pace with “The Daze.” Collaborating once again with Maddame Buttons, the track has a relaxing tropical house feel thats perfect for spring time. Along with the tune is a very appealing lyric video that will make you feel like you’re on vacation with cartooned animations of lovely scenery.
