YetepIf you’re a fan of melodic dubstep and all things dreamy then you’ll love Said The Sky. Originating from Denver, Colorado, Trevor Christensen aka Said The Sky has pretty much created his own brand of music with melodic dub and future bass elements, but the best thing about his sound is the live piano melodies he incorporates.
Said The Sky was blessed with an amazing talent when his fingers hit the piano keys, and incorporating it into his electronic music productions was the best idea he ever had. STS has worked time and time again with Illenium who has a similar sound, and the two were clearly destined to work together.
With a keen ear for catchy melodies and a penchant for getting vocalists to turn in the exact sound he’s looking for, the young talent is racking up tons of hits on his tracks like his single “Darling,” collaboration with Illenium and Seven Lions, “Rush Over Me,” and a remix of Owl City‘s “Fireflies” and he’s also starting to make a name for himself in the live performance space.
When asked about his live shows in an interview with the Untz Festival, Said The Sky said: “The only thing I try and make sure of, is that when people leave, they know exactly who I am and what I’m about.” Said The Sky will be joining a huge lineup in April for Phoenix Lights Festival and I can’t wait to see just what he’s about. Don’t miss this one!
