TomorrowWorld’s Unparallelled Production Just Got Cosmic With A Total Lunar Eclipse

Although TomorrowWorld has come to be known for its fantastical and majestic theme, this year’s festival is set to throw in a little flare of astronomy thanks to the help of the cosmos. It would appear that on Sunday, September 27th, a total lunar eclipse will engulf the night sky during the sets of artists like Porter Robinson and Armin Van Buuren. This will be the final lunar eclipse in the 2014-2015 tetrad (tetrad meaning: a group of four). The previous three lunar eclipses of the 2014-2015 tetrad occurred in April 2014, October 2014, and April 2015. Lucky for all of us TomorrowWorld attendees, this eclipse will not be following the April/October trend. The next tetrad can be expected in 2018-2019 when on the first eclipse happens on January 31st, 2018.

Known as a blood moon, the lunar eclipse means something different to each various culture. Some even believe that it is a sign of the apocalypse. But in this situation, I think that it signifies a very special and incredible moment that will forever remain in the memories of festival-goers as one of the biggest festivals in America closes with the most transcending headliners, all while mother nature does its work to create an event of celestial proportions. Far from the apocalypse, prepare your mind, body, and spirit for a truly magical moment with Armin, Porter, and your fellow attendees. This one is going to be epic.
