Above & Beyond Reunite with Justine Suissa for ‘Almost Home’

After nearly five years, the iconic trio behind Anjunabeats, Above & Beyond, has reunited once again with long-time collaborator Justine Suissa for a brand new track, “Almost Home.”

Jono, Tony, Paavo, and Justine first got together in 2000 as OceanLab, and have been working together off and on since. In 2008, they released their first and only album, Sirens Of The Sea, which has become the holy grail among trance fans. Since then, Above & Beyond and Justine have collaborated on club hits like “Alright Now,” “Cold Feet,” and “Little Something.”

“Almost Home” marks Above & Beyond’s first original release of 2021 and their first collab with Suissa since 2016. It was well worth the wait. Check it out below!

Above & Beyond said about the new single: “This is a track that we originally wrote with Justine some years ago. Like many musicians during the lockdown, we buried ourselves in the studio and had plenty of time to pick through old ideas. ‘Almost Home’, with its ’80s production influences, caught our ear. We sent it across to Justine again, and she rewrote the second verse to reflect her feelings on it today – we won’t tell you what it’s about though, we’ll leave that for you to decide. This track started in quite a different form, so we’ve also done a Club Mix to bring it a bit more up-to-date. It’s quite emotional to think that we’ll be able to play this one live for you all very soon. Take care for now!” – Above & Beyond

Above & Beyond will be headlining this year’s Goldrush Festival, alongside Zeds Dead b2b Griz, Cosmic Gate, Diplo, and many more. The three-day event will take place at Rawhide Event Center September 24-26th. You can see the full lineup and purchase tickets here!
