Relentless Beats presents Sound Kitchen featuring Emma Hewitt at Wild Knight in Old Town Scottsdale on Friday, November 16, 2012.
The ascent of Australian born vocalist/songwriter Emma Hewitt began in 2007 when she crashed onto the international dance scene as co-writer and featured vocalist on the Chris Lake U.S Billboard #1 (Hot Dance Airplay) smash hit, Carry Me Away.
Carry Me Away was premiered by seminal tastemaker Pete Tong on BBC’s legendary Radio 1 and went on to become a dance floor classic worldwide spending over 50 weeks in the U.S Billboard Dance Airplay Chart where it knocked Britney Spears’ “Toxic” off the #1 position in December 2007. The track was a mainstream Top 10 hit in Spain and Norway and peaked at #2 on the UK Club Charts receiving massive support from the DJ elite including trance heavyweights Armin Van Buuren (DJ Mag World #1 DJ) and Tiesto who proclaimed Carry Me Away to be “THE song of the summer” in 2007.
