YetepWhen I say Netsky you say?!
….Oh…I guess you had to be there.
I’m not normally a fan of the “hype man tells me what to do” type of show, but Netsky had everyone at Monarch Theatre jumping, yelling and singing along as they played a live set with an entire band on stage.
In case you were wondering, it’s pronounced just like it looks; Net-sky. Along with an entire band, Netsky played a set that made the innermost music lover inside of me dance. With an entire band on stage you can really begin to dissect each and every part of a song as it gets constructed right before your eyes. The talent that’s being showcased is something to be admired. Drums kicking in, keyboard building a melody, synth chiming in with the rhythm and vocals adding to the entire ensemble.
Netsky live at Monarch was something to be experienced first hand, and allowed me to really appreciate what the Belgian producer has been composing. Not many EDM producers can be labeled composers, but being able to see them put their music together live, right before your eyes, allows them to be seen as such.
Photos and video will be posted to the event page in the coming days. Check back for updates.
