Sebastian Ingrosso & Axwell Announce New Side Project ‘Departures’

Barely less than a month after their epic final Swedish House Mafia performance at Ultra Music Festival, two of the three Swedes, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell, announce a new side project called ‘Departures’.

First broke by Ibiza’s Ushuaïa Beach Hotel, “The rumors are true…Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso have confirmed their new Departures concept will be at Ushuaïa from 12th June every Wednesday.”

The new LIGHT Nightclub lists both DJs on their roster, while third SHM member, Steve Angello, works on his new deeper, tech-based label ‘X‘ from his own Size Records.

The group separated after saying they wanted to expand their own horizons through solo DJ-ing careers, but Sebastian and Axwell are back together through Departures soon enough.
