YetepThough it has been 4 years since we have seen a studio album from The Crystal Method, the LA pioneers are back and ready to party like it’s 2009. To celebrate the impending release of their self-titled album, the duo looked to Dia Frampton of Meg & Dia for vocals “Over It.”
Balancing her soft rocker pipes with harder-edged glitch elements, the tune manages to both creak and croon in glorious synthetic harmony. While the new dub-inspired track breaks with tradition by opting for lyric over line and roll over rock, the duo are keeping true to their roots by releasing the album on their own Tiny e Records — and giving fans a chance to get everything from an early album leak to a private DJ set with a pre-sale contribution in the process.
