YetepEarlier this week, W&W took to the decks of BBC Radio 1’s infamous Essential Mix for what is sure to be an explosive edition of the world’s favorite mix show.
This Dutch duo, sitting pretty at #14 on the DJ Mag Top 100, is known for transcending the boundaries of genre by combining the uplifting and melodic elements of trance with the raw intensity of electro and progressive characteristics of house to create a sound uniquely their own. The Essential Mix was no exception, delivering an infectious, rebellious and highly energetic mix to be delivered in full force.
W&W recently released a massive collaboration with Hardwell in August on Revealed Recordings in the form of the epic “Jumper.” Their single “Thunder,” which was released in May, entered the DMC Buzzchart at #1 and has quickly become one of the most talked about tracks in dance music.
On top of that, “The Code” is one of the year’s most popular having entered the DMC Buzz Chart at #1 and spending over two weeks at #1 on the Beatport Main Chart. It was also considered by many to be the track of WMC/MMW.
