YetepThe Sound of Q-dance returns to LA on March 8, bringing with it the biggest names from the harder styles of dance music, and the rebellious, antagonistic, authentic, counter-culture that underpins the spirit of Q-dance, the world’s premier hardstyle brand.
Last October Q-dance brought thousands to the Shrine for its debut stand-alone event in LA. It was a baptism by fire, literally, as giant pyrotechnics spewed flames, either side of a monstrous skull. Q-dance broke records, bringing the largest and loudest stage-show the Shrine Expo Hall has ever seen. And this year it plans to do the same with Brennan Heart, Frontliner, The Prophet, Lady Faith, Sylence, Mr. Skeleton, and MC Villain.
But what defined LA’s first taste of Q-dance was the fans. Energetic and devoted does not do them justice, they came from far and wide sporting Q-dance flags and tattoos, banners and signs, singing and shuffling along to the anthems. After that night in October it was clear that LA’s hardstyle nation had come of age.
Billboard said, “The sound of hardstyle is unmistakable, and for many, it’s more than music; it’s a way of life.”
With the return of the Sound of Q-dance in March, anchored by one of LA’s own, Lady Faith, we can expect this dedicated community to continue its growth.
