YetepHARD Day of the Dead is approaching quickly and to build hype we have already been treated to the lineup and a trailer, however, to stir the hype pot even more HARD has been periodically releasing some samples of what we can expect at the festival. With their HARD Day of the Dead official mixtape series, headlining artists including Marshmello, Jack Beats, Chris Lake, Astronomar, Kittens, and Wax Motif have treated us to a wide variety of musical flavors to wet our taste buds in anticipation of our weekend at the Fairplex.
With samplings of their own and of other artists who will be playing the shows on October 31st and November 1st, these mixtapes are the perfect means to prepare you for the outstanding production coming your way. This years massive lineup includes dance music legends including Deadmau5, Skrillex, Gesaffelstein, Nero and many more. The show will also treat us to hip-hop all-stars Method Man & Redman, A$AP Ferg, Future, and Juicy J. In addition, Jaime Jones was recently confirmed as a special guest, while there is still the blocked out name who remains a mystery… Could it be ZHU, could it be Snoop Dogg as the leaked line-up suggests, or could it maybe be a NWA reunion with Eminem or Lil E in place of Eazy E. At this point it could be anyone.
HARD returns to the Fairplex in Pomona, California on October 31st and November 1st for Day of the Dead. We hope to see you there! Stay tuned for more pre and post festival coverage. Tickets to the event can be purchased here. If you can’t make it out to the Fairplex, you can catch two of the mixers above in Arizona in November. Jack Beats and Sleepy Tom will be performing at Monarch on November 14th, and Marshmello will be a part of the massive lineup at Tempe Beach Park for Global Dance Festival on November 20th.
