Justice Returns With Resonating 2-Hour Mix And It’s A History Lesson in Electronic Music

Just when we were beginning to forget the roots of electronic music, along comes Justice to save the day. It has been long rumored that the French duo would be returning with new music, and just recently Ed Banger, the boss-man of Busy P, confirmed that the duo would be releasing a 3rd studio album in 2016. But to wet our tongues with even more juice, Justice made a very rare appearance on Busy P’s NTS radio show for a stunning 2-hour mix full of everything you could ever ask for.

Often operating behind closed doors, taking every precaution to maintain secrecy apart from covering their faces, Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé bare all they have for this mix. Taking us all the way back to the early 90’s and even up to today, through 20 years of dance music, Justice makes sure to embed it into listeners ears and brains how we got to where we are today. The mix bleeds their Moog-rock inspired sound along with some electro, punk, french house, and some seriously trippy synth work throughout. You can hear Mr. Oizo, Hudson Mohawke, Jean Michel Jarre, and of course original work from Justice themselves.

Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé are slowly building the tension and anticipation leading up to the new album, and of course their highly coveted New Years Eve show in Brooklyn, New York with the recently announced Gesaffelstein. With the mix, the return to performance, and the recent announcement, it would seem that 2016 is shaping up to be the year of Justice.
