YetepFormed in 2010, Austrailia based trio RÜFÜS DU SOL made up of guitarist Tyrone Lindqvist, keyboardist Jon George, and drummer James Hunt have made their way from local stars to global ones. Their first big release was 2011’s EP, ‘RÜFÜS’ and 2012’s ‘Blue’. In 2013, they delivered their debut full-length album, ‘Atlas,’ and they returned in the beginning of 2016 with a beautiful EP output on Odesza‘s Foreign Family Collective titled ‘Bloom.’
Fans of What So Not‘s Enoh Instead had been anxiously awaiting his Gemimi EP for most of 2015 which was released in december, and then on his performance on New Year’s eve at Snowglobe he dropped a remix that’s arrival has also been anxiously awaited, and now it’s here.
What So Not remade RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “Innerbloom” making for an impressive track with a wonky bassline. Alison Wonderland showed Enoh lots of praise on twitter when he sent her the remix and she even dropped it and gave it a shoutout during her set at Ultra. What So Not has a few shows coming up in France, maybe they will be lucky enough to hear this wonderful remix.
