Imagine Music Festival returns to Atlanta, Georgia over a span of 3 days on August 26th, 27th and 28th for its third installment, now with the new addition of camping! They’ve recently released their Phase 1 lineup of artists that will be supplemented by special events and workshops, amusement rides, aquatic environments, camping, circus performances, a silent disco, and even more artists to be announced at a later date. Phase 1 headliners include industry heavyweights Benny Benassi, Borgore, Dillon Francis, Excision, Gramatik, NERO, Showtek and Zeds Dead baby! But the headliners aren’t the only thing to brag about in this lineup; virtually every artist on here is fantastic – this lineup is too good!
Last year, 2015 saw 26,000 attendees at Imagine Festival, with this year’s expected attendance set to double again for it’s third year of the festival. Festival organizers Glen and Madeline Goodhand commented on the addition of camping to the festival saying,“Given our unique community and holistic atmosphere, adding camping felt like a natural progression for the festival that could only enhance the friendships made and adventures to be had… We wanted to create an all-encompassing 360-degree sensory experience by blending music, circus troupes, performers, dancers, art, workshops, classes and more. Imagine is a well-rounded presentation of EDM striving for total immersion in the festival experience. The IMF camping element will enrich this experience exponentially and help generate even more beautiful memories.”
After having garnered worldwide attention as a rival to the mainstream EDM festivals of the world, Imagine Festival is now recognized as Atlanta’s best EDM festival. Somehow this inner-city music festival has been able to withstand an international brand like TomorrowWorld and surpass their local ally CounterPoint. Well it isn’t a complete mystery, the impeccable lineup, immersive experiences offered, and family-oriented vibe of the festival make this truly not your typical EDM festival. The addition of camping to a festival like this comes quite naturally.
If you want to go to this incredible music festival, you better act fast; with a lineup this good I can guarantee you that it is going to sell out! The next batch of tickets will be released May 31st, with prices rising to $199 and $299 plus tax for general admission and VIP respectively. Grab your tickets before it is too late! They are also offering payment plans for those who want to go, but don’t have all the cash immediately – these Iris Presents festival organizers seem to have thought of everything.
