YetepAustralia based trio RÜFÜS DU SOL are new to the scene but have gained popularity and attention from other big names very quickly. Their debut album, Atlas, peaked at number 1 in Australia, while their second album, Bloom, debuted atop the Australian albums chart in early 2016. First they remix Odesza, then What So Not remixes them, and now, Louis Futon steps up to remix the lovely track “You Were Right” off of Bloom.
Philly based producer Louis Futon has started off 2016 with lots of awesome music like a refreshing remix of Marian Hill‘s “One Time,” and one of my favorites, his colorful original “Wasted On You” via ODEZSA’s Foreign Family imprint label, which RÜFÜS DU SOL is signed to as well. Both being such amazing artists I was ecstatic to see a song rendition including both RÜFÜS and Louis.
“You Were Right” was already an impressive track to begin with, and Louis has taken it to the next level. He’s put so much attention to detail in this remix with a relaxing buildup that transitions into a truly beautiful melody. Louis Futon has also just released the first volume of his “Zoned Out” mix series which features this new remix, along with “Wasted On You,” and Vanic‘s newest remix. Any of these tracks are perfect for starting off your day, winding down when its over, or just chilling out any time or place.
