RIP The Internet: HARD Summer Music Festival 2016’s Lineup Has Been Released

Let’s start by saying HARD never ceases to amaze. They have always been known for curating innovative line-ups with music that hits hard in all the right places, but also give us something that we never even knew we wanted.

This year is no different.

Headlining this year’s edition of the festival are Ice Cube, Flosstradamus, Porter Robinson, DJ Khaled, and Claude VonStroke on Saturday, July 30th while Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Travis Scott, Zeds Dead, and Madeon will highlight day 2 on Sunday July 31st!

Some special mentions to include are that all of your favorite mystery producers will be in attendance (aside from Marshmello) including Malaa, Bear Grillz, and the debut of Slushii.

In addition, we will be seeing performances from Baauer, Tchami, Destructo, Boys Noize, Alunageorge, Kill the Noise, and Jai Wolf. For the deeper side of things expect to groove to Felix Da Housecat, Ardalan, Will Clarke, AC Slater, Amine Edge & Dance, Green Velvet, and More!

HARD is also known for being a music festival rather than a rave, therefore you can expect to see music from all ends of the scale. Rap and hip-hop usually have a strong presence and this years hip-hop acts include Dizzee Rascal, DJ Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign, and Fat Joe.

Some important things to mention are the venue change of the event as well as the addition of camping! This year’s festivities will take place at Auto Club Speedway in Southern California off of the I-10 just east of Los Angeles. On their Facebook event for the festival they state that the festival will be 18+ and include camping and easy ins/outs in a space of over 500+ acres. It is interesting to see these changes and additions to the festival given the struggles they faced following last year’s festival, but there is no doubt we are looking forward to them.
