YetepIn April, Borgeous dropped his latest single “Ride It,” which features Rvssian and M.R.I and vocals by Sean Paul.
“Ride It” is the first single off of Borgeous’ debut album 13 which will be available August 13. The song features synths, trappy drops and a hint of pop. Sean Paul adds a new layer to classic Borgeous electronic beats, and the result is impressive.
Borgeous told Billboard, “Something that people don’t know about me is that I am half Jamaican on my mother’s side. So for ‘Ride It,’ it was really cool to work on a song with Sean Paul, who is one of the top Jamaican artists.”
Just last week he released the music video for the track.
Borgeous, Rvssian & M.R.I – Ride It (ft. Sean Paul)
Borgeous, Rvssian, M.R.I and Sean Paul are all featured in the video giving it a personal feel. Filmed in Miami, the video follows the story of a fitness competition featuring women of “a certain high-caliber physique” who battle it out to score points with judges.
Look for more from Borgeous this summer. His album 13 is said to feature other guests and collaborators including Lil Jon, Neon Hitch, Fatman Scoop, Rvssian, MRI, Lauren Dyson, Ashley Wallbridge, 7 Skies and others. You can also catch Borgeous at Release Pool Party on June 5th!
