YetepSince the tracks release in July, “Blame” was the first song heard from the duo Zeds Dead’s upcoming album, Northern Lights. A collaboration between artists Diplo and Zeds Dead alone is a guaranteed jam but if you throw in some vocals from the talented Elliphant, well the song becomes unstoppable. “Blame” combines some of the most talented artist’s and blends them together giving you something that makes you want to bang your head but also sway to the low-key vibe it has.
The music video takes you back in time channeling those Saturday morning cartoons you used to watch as a little kid. Action packed and filled with characters that look like they’re straight out of Transformers, the video portrays hero’s and crime fighting in the earliest forms. The music flows with the story line pairing scenes with the melodic Diplo touch of the song then throwing in some frenzy and crime fighting as the beat drops and you can hear that always dirty, Zeds Dead sound. With an old-school style and retro color scheme, this music video stands out from most which is perfect considering the artists who created the song do too.

Now with the release of the video to tie the whole song together we can only hope the release of the entire album Northern Lights will follow close behind. A video with visuals like that and an unreal track to go with it, I can only imagine what Zeds Dead has in store for us when he visits us in Tempe, Arizona on October 27th.
